Not the first time in our history this was done, for example as Irish immigrants got off the boat in NYC during the Civil War the Union ushered as many as they could into the military and off to the slaughter they went. Admittedly these immigrants were "legal", but had no or minimal connection with our Constitution or our society. Even after the war the Irish were treated poorly.

The French formed a Foreign Legion, but it wasn't allowed to operate or train inside France. Will these illegals be sent overseas and American servicemen brought home? Bwaa ha ha!!!

These illegals have already flaunted our Constitution and laws, what makes anyone think they'd en mass go along with the military oath?

Edit add: The only saving grace I can muster at this time is most of the illegals don't seem to be very "woke". Oh wait, after military woke indoctrination they will be able to play their newly acquired victim card. Never mind.

Remember, when the Roman Empire fell, its armies were increasing populated with foreign mercenaries. Rome no longer had a well trained loyal professional army, and that is one of the reasons for their fall. And I speak as one who served 20 years in the Air Force.
