Despite nay-saying Ben Shapiro & Trump-hating RINOs, Trump remains most electable against Buythem in ‘24 general—most recent poll

Ben Shapiro in his afternoon radio talk show came out today more vociferously than ever in damning Trump’s chances to win in the ‘24 general, claiming grievances, retribution for stolen election won’t get him elected.

My thought: no argument about grievances being a poor substitute for performance but a performance record is exactly what Trump has to his credit, and it’s well known despite MSM failure to acknowledge the facts.

All the same, arguments about grievances and delivering on promises is all moot. It all comes down to the price of gasoline at the pump in late October ‘24, also whether it’s on the increase or decline.

People with no/short memories re political rhetoric still know Buythem is committed to Green Energy (i.e. scarce gasoline) while Trump is committed to fracking and XL pipeline-type energy boosting. There’s no rhetorical or political argument to alter that particular fact.

I have a great respect for Ben Shapiro and agree with him a lot. We part ways regarding some of our opinions of Trump. The left knows Trump's meaning, which is why they are desperate to destroy him before the election.

... and they very well might.

The only way Trump wins is if the population starts actually viewing him as a victim, as he is, and as we see. Trump doesn't make this very easy.

He needs to faint in court or otherwise use a little Neymar (soccer faking injury reference), right before the Georgia case is thrown out.

I agree with Shapiro on this.

ANY other candidate can beat that walking tool BuyDum. Some will bring a lot of Dems with them. Trump may win the Republican nomination. However, in the general, he can ONLY bring his his own, all Republican voter base. A bunch of R's will throw away their votes on the Libertarians to make a point. Zero Dems will vote for Trump, and almost no one in the middle will vote for him.

ANY other candidate beats Biden, hands down. The world is sick of him, BUT almost no one will admit Biden sucks until Trump is not the alternative.

Nikki Haley wins all day long. Ramaswamy wins all day. They will make a mockery of BuyDum if he debates, and a mockery if he refuses. I like DeSantis, but there is too much Trump on him. These others could be two-term winners, too. Trump can't, and the pendulum will swing back after another four years with him, and the R's will be struggling up hill again.

I'd take anyone over BuyDum, and happily see Trump back in, but I don't believe he can win the General, even if it is fair.

We better pray Trump backs out.

Agree with all of this, but would add that there's no way it will be fair if Trump is in it. Too many people are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep him out of power.

Yes, which is why we should have 24/7 MANNING of the drop boxes. FILMING Everyone who comes by and drops something off.

Personally, I would go by them 1 day before the election starts, and set them ABLAZE.

Go ahead and vote by mail. BUT I NEED to know who dropped off WHAT Ballots, and specifically how many. And how many times. Especially where ballot harvesting is illegal.
These Mules must be identified as a problem, DURING the process. And the people they voted for, should be contacted.
If there is any doubt, open the ballot, and fingerprint it. Make sure the person who filled it out is the person who was voting.

It should take EXACTLY 1 ballot identified as not belonging to that voter, to stop the whole charade.

But where are the REPUBLICANS on this?
        Because it is the UNIPARTY...

And the reason why Trump will face more resistance... Is because a full 1/3rd of his resistance is the RHINOs who are supposed to be on our team.

I would rather lose the election then cede my choice to these corrupt screw-ups!

Disagree... I would NEVER vote for Nikki after hearing her talk about Ukraine. She might as well wear a "WEF Endorsed" sticker.
Same with Pence. I will vote BIDEN before I vote for either of them.

      Trump, Vivek, or DeSantis.
And DeSantis feels like Ron the Rhino... Funded by BUSCH fans... And I never voted for a Bush!

I've rarely heard anything Ben Shapiro say that didn't have substance behind it.

In this instance, I'm inclined to agree with him about Trump's chances. After all, didn't we have substantial conservative support and drive, behind the last election, and see where it got us.

I believe a Donald Trump "look-alike" candidate would stand a far better chance. Someone without as much baggage AND younger. After all, those are the very things we've been deriding Biden for, over the last few years.

We'll never get the perfect candidate, so I'll just throw out my initial suggestion for a Ron DeSantis/Nikki Hailey ticket, subject to change, from the little I know about the pair.

Shapiro didn't vote for Trump in 2016, either though.
      I consider him Controlled Opposition.
He is very smart. He makes a lot of sense.

But to ignore what they did to Judge Roy Moore! You think they won't do that to next Republican?
