If my interpretation of statistics is correct, about 1/3 are single issue "choice," and 1/6 are single issue "life." Trouble is, demographics are shifting and younger generations are more heavily "choice," with older women about split evenly but dying off.
Emerging demographics don't look good for Republicans who now campaign on "life"--especially a nationwide ban on abortion. The best Republicans can hope for is to let this be a states' right issue (as SCOTUS recently confirmed and suggested) rather than trying to make it a nationwide policy one way or the other.
This was proven in Michigan in the '22 midterms. Now the Michigan governor, legislature, and courts are all leftist with no check or balance.
