the South was right, but for the wrong reasons, they had the right to leave the Union, their reason, to preserve their economic health as most of their wealth was in slaves was simply wrong

the North was wrong, the South had the right to leave, slavery was being seen for what it was, just morally wrong on all levels

that the South fired the first shot of the war just helped Lincoln
