Big business stagnates (and loots.)

Centralized power is the primary problem because it allows elite control at the expense of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of everyone else.

Smith's comments on big corporations avoiding risk is so true. As a result new technologies are stunted and innovation is suppressed. Nothing new is good for big business unless they own it. Asia will eat the US for lunch because there are few rewards for innovators in the US. Instead the brightest people are pushing papers around or playing financial tricks in a zero sum game.
