If in fact we are facing a Recession or 'Depression' as the case may be. Why isn't our great Democrat government taking steps to avert this? I don't think this would be a good time to change up our money system. I seem to recall my parents didn't have any money during the Great Depression! Dumb, dumber, and dumbest! Conjugating the verb 'dumb'.

Because they are causing it to happen to enrich themselves and their unproductive, looting, treasonous conspirators, and to deprive honest Americans of their liberties and independence.

My grandparents were poor during the depression and had to do what they could to earn a living. Here's a line from my grandfathers journal, "Buried dad this morning. Canned peas at the cannery this afternoon."

I blame this Administration and it all started with Stupid shutting down the Keystone Pipeline. Open that up and he could create 9,000 jobs. Start producing Diesel. Give loans to oil companies to open their refineries. Quit sending it all to his friends in Ukraine, China, etc.

The news media makes an event out of repeating Biden's gaffs. I should think his 'handlers' would put him back in the basement where he belongs. They weren't afraid to condemn Trump for sneezing!

The puppetmasters are getting what they've been working toward for too many years. The current administration should be impeached and put on trial for treason. Add the media to that, then ruthlessly cut back the entrenched beaurocracy to zero and the ridiculous executive orders undone. The resulting jump in unemployment stats would only be temporary as business got back into gear without the tribe of monkeys on their backs. The only way I see this happening is to vote the already elected ones out and pressure the new crop to do it right.

I think all of this is about either or both of the following theories, society collapse and creation cycle or a distraction.

There exists a 250-year society collapse and rebirth cycle, the New World Order knows this and plans on installing itself as the government in charge, hence the 2030 date or a few years after our monetary, society and civilization collapses. I think these folks are giddy seeing the plans come to fruition.

There also co-exists another larger 400 (approximate) year cycle involving the sun and a cooling period. This theory was derived recently by Dr. Valentina Zharkova in an uncontested peer reviewed paper. The theory is opposed to the global warming hysteria and has been summarily stifled. If this theory proves to be accurate, we all are in for a very rough ride in the next 50-70 years.

Regime change would make ether of the above easier on the regime in power to maintain or assume power. So, I truly think most of what we are witnessing is a distraction from the true reason for the turmoil. Glee is simply the minions responding to what they have been told is a positive, all useful idiots.

Of course, this is all speculation and only history will be able to decide this…

Another larger 12,000 cycle also exists of catastrophe, the last event was the great extension event 12,000 years ago called the Younger Dryas, if you noticed the last event of a 12,000-year cycle was 12,000 years ago, you should be gleeful, for now. Roughly, the earth has had a mass extinction event about every 12,000 yeas going back quite a while. This is not mainstream science, but the truth usually isn’t at first…

Read some of MIT Professor Richard Lindzens work. I attended some of his lectures back in the day. He studies climate over the entire evolution of this planet. Billions of years. There are many Sun cycles that can counteract or build upon themselves. It is a very complex system we still don't fully understand. Bottom line, the earth has undergone huge climate swings over hundreds of millions of years without cow farts or pickup trucks playing a part in it. Swings that were so violent, it is unclear whether we humans could adapt in time.
When the earth was young the sun was weaker than it is today, but with much higher levels of CO2, some 6-10 times as high as today. The Sun is the driver of climate.
You should also look into what NASA is doing with their "Weather Modification" program. Tesla showed us how to do it 90 years ago. Now NASA is spraying nano particle-sized heavy metals nation-wide then steering them with high energy waves. (HAARP? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?) And NASA isn't the only player either, you can be sure the Russians and the Chinese are playing the same dangerous games. I read even the Finns have their own version of HAARP. Why? What's the goal here?

Yes.....I want the dummies that voted for Biden to feel some consequences for their actions. I am willing to feel some pain as well because I am prepared and know that whatever I feel it will be three fold worse for them. In my dreams my mouthy relatives are eating rice and beans. That would put a contented smile on my face.

"People"? Which people? Talking heads on TV? Congress Critters? Wall Street Banksters? Your neighbor living paycheck-to-paycheck surely isn't saying that. The "people" who are saying that clap-trap don't know what a gallon of milk costs, don't fill their own gas tank and likely don't even drive the car they're riding in. When you here that crass talk, think: "Let Them Eat Cake" I don't want to see a French style revolution, but we a surely going down that road. To say the ride is going to get a little bumpy is a gross understatement.
Depopulation is the point, it is the goal. Prepare.

I am hoping for a recession and lower prices. Inflation destroys my fixed income buying power.

I don't think it works that way. I too am on a fixed income, but I don't ever see prices go backward by any significant margin.

Gasoline, yes. Always been a volatile commodity. But as long as the Central Banks print paper (at interest) permanently devaluating every dollar, accumulating debt so large our grandchildren can never pay off... it is inevitable your dollar will forever buy less.
The best example is the buying power of gold. 100 years ago when gold was $20/oz. Twelve coins would buy you a nice new car.
Yes, it would be nice to see a slowdown the rate of inflation, but the reality is our currency is being diluted. So long as that holds true, your dollar can only buy less and less. If you are on a fixed income as I am, it's not good news.

Claiming there is going to be a recession turns into a self fulfilling prophecy. As a business owner, my reaction would be to pull in my horns in terms of planning for the future, cutting back employees and cancelling expansion plans and going more to AI to cut costs. For example.

Consider that there are a great many contrarian or "bear-market" investors who actually ~welcome~ a recession.

      Who is John Galt?
Asset "values" have been irrationally pushed higher and higher
to save the elites from their irrational decisions.
Their efforts to inflate (destroy) the money of the People is evil.
A great deflation is necessary along with the destruction of all the "reserve" banks, imo.
Currency manipulation must end. The fed must die and take the banksters to hell.
