Navy Seals; Glass Ceiling?

Here is an example of biology, not bias, setting a tough bar. Navy Seal training is tough for most men. Women are struggling to complete it, and that is not a surprise.

It's a rational merit-based elimination process, like the SAT tests were until recently.
I know I couldn't pass any more than I could play in the NBA or NFL.
    I don't think I'm a victim.
    Women aren't victims either.
The ones who feel they are victims (along with a lot of others who feel they are victims) are the reason this country is in decline.
The enemy will not put up with this kind of bullshit. The enemy will torture and kill them.
    Get over it.

Oh yeah, I can understand women wanting to be Seals. One of my friends was captured and tortured brutally (he has never married because of this), They must now want to have children or they'd understand my husband died from overexposure to Agent Orange. He has Chlorachne (sores all over his body). He developed Ischemic Heart Disease and Diabetes 2. He died at the age of 60 (I'm 85 and I still miss him every day). But if these silly women want to risk all that, then who am I to question it. But since my youngest son was born after all this exposure my husband experienced, I'd compelled to tell you my child died from an early heart attack at 41. N

Women in the military and in combat- the easy answer is that no action is needed, as long as there is no relaxing of entry rules and training.
Wokey admins pretend to do just that, but it does not work.

In combat, when it is known that there are women in the vicinity, it encourages attack, and worse, male colleagues cannot resist giving support at risk of undue exposure.
A case can be made for all female units, if competent there would be few of them, but do not mix.

It isn't a "glass ceiling." It's a concrete one. And it's there for a very good reason.

Personally, I don't think women belong in combat. Period. Unless you're Gina Carrano. Or Rhonda Rousey. But the fact remains that every female MMA fighter who has gone up against a biological male has been literally beaten to a bloody pulp. Why? Because mens' bodies are stronger, faster, and the male psyche is geared to combat and protection. This is mother nature at it finest here.

There's also another fact of biology: if all but one man on earth died, you could still bring back the human race pretty quick. No so if all but one woman die.
