Lean into their delusion HARD. Go full Greta Thunberg and insist that School Staff wear full hazmat suits to protect themselves. Because “follow the science” says we can’t be too safe. Make them tell you NO. Then demand reasons why they refuse, in writing. Trick them into making your argument. Suddenly they will have to admit there is an acceptable level of risk.
This is just to get kids entrenched in the idea of obeying, in a manner many parents don't even understand. Couple of decades and they'll be ready for 1984 or Mao.
Yes. Three times last month (that ending yesterday) on the behalf of a brother who had a successful operation, me dino felt quite stupid for being required to wear a mask at a hospital. Felt uncomfortable, too, for breathing my own carbon dioxide; and when you need a cane like old dino, extended walks in a hospital makes you breathe heavier. I came up for air at every opportunity mostly but not always when people weren't looking. That's because I saw a few other masked people cheating too. Air! Air! Gimme air! Compounding the stupidity of it all was the hospital's cafeteria. Not a mask in sight as people ate and talked, ate and talked. Workers there weren't even wearing masks. BUT the self-serve soda fountains with crushed ice kerplunkers were all shut down, for our useless protection. I say useless because we all had to with bare hands open the glass doors of fridges to reach in while inhaling and exhaling to fetch soda cans and bottles of water or whatever. Forrest Gump was right: "Stupid is as stupid does."
A neighbor sent us a video yesterday of her adult son who has Down’s syndrome. He is a bagger at a local grocery chain . Phillip was singing and dancing on his driveway that he doesn’t have to wear a mask at work any more. I felt happy for him as you could see his absolute Joy.
They are wearing the still at one of the local grocery stores here because its a mandate of the store management persons as well as insisting they prove to be jabbed. Requirement to work there asked a fellow who has been there as long as I've been in this area some 20 plus years.
I cant believe most people are STILL wearing masks at the local walmart neighborhood market. Is NOT mandated now for a couple of weeks, but the idiots continue to wear them (even in the parking lot). At least I dont have to wear it, and I DONT
I had to hold back when one of two for certain liberals were wearing masks said snide remarks because I did not have a mask though I was more then 10 ft away from them...in my younger years they would surely heard my fury..mellowed a tad but more everyone is ready to file criminal charges without good cause.
^5 A friend on the east coast has a relative that has not left their home except to start the car in the driveway destroying its exhaust system along with their own lives but they still do not and have deliveries left on the porch for hours still :/
I've seen parents restrain their children to keep them away from me at Whole Foods. Those living in fear are completely irrational at this point and seeing people without masks seems to cause near panic in some.
Sometimes it is necessary to attend your local school board meetings. Sometimes it's even appropriate to become the school board or some other part of local government.
No...but I can discern and I am entitled to my opinion. I think she is a ceaseless self promoter. It really stood out to me when Giuliani suddenly ditched her 1 day after a joint presser.....something is amiss with her.
Of course you are, I would be interested in learning what is amiss with her. She has been volunteering her services after all and she was tenacious in representing Gen Flynn.
I'm curious as well, evlwhtguy. She did well defending Flynn, but was thwarted by commie judges at every attempt to fight election fraud, but she spent a lot of energy on that and still does.
It just really stood out to me when she promoted this whole Kraken business....which seemed a little non serious to me...more like promotion and when Giuliani turned away from her so suddenly with no explanation after what seemed a very convivial joint presser..It caused me to question everything I had heard about her.
I took the "Kraken" remark to be humorous rhetoric with a message and I still smile at some of the memes people came up with after that. Hindsight being 20/20, I don't think she (or many at the time, including me) thought the courts would be so quick to summarily dismiss what she was bringing to the table and effectively cage the Kraken. The same happened to Mike Lindell. IMHO, most lawyers are Democrats and have a strong grip on the legal system in this country, which is why we STILL don't really know what happened in Arizona, Georgia, and elsewhere regarding the 2020 election - and may never know.
I have no idea what happened between her and Giuliani. I respect them both.

Never worn one. Had the "deadly" Covid twice, didn't even kill me with heart issues, severe COPD, even ED. It was a complete and brutal farce, and hopefully the truth will be coming out world over, right after Russia meets its goals in the Ukraine.
Governor of WA has moved up the drop mask date nine days earlier to March 12th. I'm confident those 9 days early will resolve the whole issue politically. He must feel 9 days early will secure his next reelection.
How many times are these 'restrictions" a result of the fear of defensive litigation? If that fear were lifted, would the boards be more apt to release the blanket restrictions? Maybe that was only a single consideration but that release will allow a more focus on the other reasons. If they are in fear of litigation. Litigation brought on by who or what injured party? There may be a figment of a possible injured party that would not manifest. So, it must be determined, what are they (school board members) scared of
It's way past time, but the logical fallacy is thinking we are dealing with rational people who have an interest in self-government. These people are elitist, wannabe dictators and they are supported by the sheeple they have been able to con through fear and lies into supporting them.
In this case, you have RISK/REWARD... A concept EVERYONE learns early on, from grabbing a hot dish, to jumping off a cliff into clear water. To crossing a street.
And we GET IT WRONG. But, for the most part, we are responsible for those decisions.
This is 100% correct. Government and the Media should be TELLING US how to interpret the ACTUAL risk. Not making us REALLY SCARED of something, and TELLING US HOW to behave. This is insanity.
And the guilty are clueless. We had an IDIOT on NextDoor, messaging out 5,312 people died yesterday from Covid. Blaming Trump, and reminding us this is worse than a 9-11 event, every day. (Granted he could not discern OF Covid vs With Covid), and He could not show EXCESS deaths. And if you ASKED, you were labelled a grandma killer, and banned, as every life is precious!
And that is the last piece. Their should be nothing EMOTIONAL about science. Ebola is incredibly lethal. Just tell me it is in my neighborhood, and I will probably not go out for a while. Because I can calculate RISK/REWARD for myself.
Absolutely. "Charade" is right. It is bad medicine. Masks do not stop viruses. Even N95 masks do not stop viruses. They stop bacteria, which is why I used to wear one in an operating room. But not viruses.
I've used a "screen door on a submarine" analogy a few times and had lefty heads spinning. It goes something like this: Can you scientifically prove a screen door on a submarine will hold back ocean water? Yes, you can because the mesh will hold back water. However, if you use ALL the science you quickly realize the tiny amount of water the mesh stops is irrelevant to the amount of water flooding through the holes, which is why it's useless to put screen doors on submarines. Same for a mask holding back a virus cloud.
As I said when they first started with the mouth burka bullship. This is part of the indoctrination of the youth it has nothing to do with health ,in fact just the opposite. Make a claim on all these school board officials surety bond. Hit these fuQheads in the pocketbook.
I did put a post with the link you can click on, but it got buried in the shuffle of all the other posts. I don't know how to stick it at the top for an "Ask Gulch" scenario.

Remember that Tip O'Neill correctly said, "All politics is local." Bob Heinlein wrote a book about local politics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take_Ba...
Who was the Roman sage who said that the Roman citizen cares not for the Legions in far away places, but instead for the pebble in his own shoe?
The mask / muzzle / face-diaper / talisman / virtue-signaling / compliance-endorsing device has essentially been feckless.
