When combined with everything else (radioactive basement room in his palace, tons of Chemical warfare suits, guarded barbed wire encircled facilities in the desert for baby milk, mural depicting the WTC smoldering on the walls in schools, etc.) and then the revelation that Damascus suddenly had way more chemical weapons than ever was known previously creates a stench that would wake the dead. I still wonder why the Russians didn't go ballistic when their "ambassadors" vehicle was taken out by one of our pilots fleeing Baghdad?

After all we've witnessed the last year or two, the global collusion between governments, banking, manufacturing and media at every level, you can no longer count on what you hear.

I trust the eyes and minds if those I knew back then more than media and arm chair quarterbacks. Slimy put, they had no reason to lie about what they saw/seen/experienced.
