If you recall John Galt was also kidnapped by the statist government. Apparently Jack's relationship with his friends have not helped as Galt's did. Of course, this is reality, not fiction.
Would Galt be Arkancided if he lived today?

There are Democrat proposals to require IRAs to have a percentage of funds mandated to be invested in treasury bills, supposedly to "protect" retirees and provide "security." There are those who openly support the idea of IRAs being exclusively T-bills, so the government can immediately suck up the trillions in existing pensions.

Also expect to see an FDR redux, making ownership of gold illegal, expanding that edict to silver, platinum, palladium, and rhodium. All of the confiscated metal would be exchanged for T-bills, as the biggest, fattest, emptiest IOU ever.

A most chilling article, diessos. If it can happen in China, it can happen in Australia or Canada or here. The control of funds is here already and soon our government just might decide that's the way to go, openly doing a snatch 'n grab on dissenters. They're trying every trick in the books and a whole lot that aren't to bend this country into subservience. I can see the gang sitting around in the dark at their bar table saying, "Yah. Now that's POWER."

  I agree. It is a chilling article. My quote was intended to show sarcasm. I also see the signs it's happening here. The "WEALTH" tax is the first step. Then they,will come for our 401ks and retirement funds.

That's one of the dangers of living in China. You're an utter fool to try to be a capitalist in a communist nation IMHO.

It should be noted that the Chinese government also ordered that all of Ma's assets be sold and applied against the corporate debt.
