New Struggle For Those Trying to Escape California

For starters - I already have a home in NV. But, it's not big enough for my family and an elderly relative who needs to come with us. So...I've been shopping for a 4-bedroom home. You know what?...Can't find one. Everything in the region near my home in the Reno area is sold before it hits the market. Prices are climbing like crazy. My current home in the Reno area is going up $30K/month in market value. This is insane. There are two newer developments that I really like and both have sold out before they even break ground. These homes start at $750K. Now that the governor of California is going full-Nazi mode people are running like rats from a ship. My golf club...everybody is selling their memberships and leaving the state. These are comfortable, monied people that are running like the wind. In states where Californians flee to the real estate has gone ballistic. I'm watching all this unfold and I have to say it's surreal. It's like some bad dream. In all my years I've never seen it so tough to buy a house as what I'm seeing in little ole Nevada. This can't be sustainable. Something's gonna have to give, I think...maybe a massive economic collapse. That brings me to my next point...With the president talking about things like aliens and people wiping his butt the stock market has gotten very jittery. Very.

Enjoy the show, everybody...

Good luck, Abaco. From what I've seen here in the Gulch and elsewhere NV is flooding with escaping Kommiefornians who haven't learned a thing and NV will become an extension of Kommiefornia soon enough. From what I gather NV has been home growing its own Kommie class as well. Freedom lovers on the move from the Kommiefornia failing state will likely have to look elsewhere than NV. Stuck here in The Peoples Republik of NY I feel your pain and would like to move, but currently have no means of escape at my age - I think my wife and I waited too long to start over elsewhere. Also, it's looking more and more like the entire country is sliding into the Marxist abyss and it won't matter what state you live in - the hold outs will assimilate or be crushed.

IMHO, this housing bubble seems different than the last one. I wonder if the increasing pockets of high housing prices and other prices is the gassing off of the free market liquidity as it boils from the approaching heat of Marxist hell. Hunker down. It's going to be a rough ride unless something happens to douse the flames.

I agree that eventually the entire nation will be dark blue. What I find interesting is that the people I know and meet in NV are overwhelmingly conservative/libertarian. Their government has been infiltrated at the higher levels with Marxists (no, that's not an exaggeration but a few recent headlines).

Oddly, in my part of NY people are mostly red, but there is no escape from the deeeeeeeep blue of NYC and other major cities. Look for the most rotten areas and there will be blue in full control.

I still have trouble with the red/blue color designations. Through most of my life red meant commie and blue meant freedom. Somewhere along the line this got switched. Oh well.

Nevada has already been converted to KA socialism by leftist invaders. If you care about your liberty you must look elsewhere, imo. You'd be going from the fire to the frying pan. The 2 main cities in NV are an extension of Kommifornia.

With Nevada election fraud there is little hope to go back to red. Draconian mask mandates, a vax lottery, and gas prices skyrocketing, complicity in local media, high unemployment, and no economic growth, Nevada is in trouble.
