Nevada is now Communist

The DSA faction of the Democratic Party has taken over the Party. The Democrats have control of the Legislature and the Governorship.

Pretty sad for what was once a fantastic live and let live libertarian State. But those of us in the Sagebrush Rebellion predicted this years ago. A product of the feds supposedly "owning" with "exclusive jurisdiction" 87% of the State's land area.

It has been said many times that things will not change until "The cost of rebellion exceeds the cost of compliance".

Well, for the whole nation the cost/compliance equation has seriously ratcheted up in favor of rebellion.

But the compliance factor is usually bought and paid for by those with the confiscated larder and the distributing largess. When that runs out, i.e., the fake money becomes just that - like Zimbabwean dollars - Watch out! Things will unravel for them pretty fast.

I said that first sentence wrong. It is when the cost of compliance exceeds the cost of rebellion that things will change. Sorry. Itchy keyboard fingers!

No problem. I noticed that right off and almost helped you out, but see you caught it yourself. Good Catch, Flootus5.

Thanks mcc! That helps my outlook for today. Having woken up to my digitally controlled clocks persuading me I slept in.

Rebellion/Compliance. The red pill/blue pill choice. Pretty stark for Nevada these days.

But oh, those synthetic steaks taste so good. What? There is no more fake meat now?

My Gulch is in Nevada. I love the place. But, the leftists have their sights on everything. The only state they haven't started sinking their fangs into might be Wyoming. But, they'll get that too. Rest assured - Texas is in serious trouble. Hell...Biden "won" Arizona.

And votes don’t matter in Nevada. The corruption is deep, pervasive, and there is no way to vote any of them out. Dominion is alive and well here. Cant wait to leave.

This brings much grief to my soul.

Now watch as other states go down the same road one by one.

Are we, the patriots, out numbered yet.

Strangely, I have never really included Nevada with the other states. It always seem rather superficial.

It was 'founded' by the mob. I have never expected much from Nevada as a result. Some good people live there, but like government, banking, and Wall St, their primary 'industry' is to steal from others, not to produce anything of value.

This is the simplistic view that most of the nation has of Nevada. Vegas was "founded by the mob", not the State. Even that is a bit simplistic when more is learned of Nevada, but is a large part of why I included the pic of the t-shirt.

Nevada was founded upon the very production of value that helped the US through some critical events. That value is based upon the mining of crucial metals, a process of which most of the population is entirely ignorant of. Notably of gold and silver. What used to be the sign of the dollar. Remember that phrase from a favorite and familiar book?

These metals including copper and tungsten helped win the Civil War, WWI, and WWII. While Vegas was still a cow tank. Nevada as a political entity (such as it is now) is the 7th largest producer of gold among nations of the world.

Despite the elitists cartels of which you speak trying to convince everyone that gold and silver are "barbarous relics of the past", it is this intrinsic value being created by traditional producers is what is the target of the looters.

Watch now, the yahoos in the State government are actively trying to loot into this production that was wisely protected in language written into the State Constitution in 1864. And watch, the yahoos on the national level will now try to finish gutting the 1872 Mining Law. The last law of the public lands that recognizes private property rights by individuals in the public lands.

While it is understandable that most are ignorant of the long unique history of Nevada as a bastion of very independent self reliant people that are getting completely overrun now, be at least aware to own some gold and silver!

My condolences, and hearty approval for the t-shirt and the separation of the good from both the 'mobs'.
"Most of the nation" has only seen the tourist traps of Vegas and Reno - where the population controls the fate of the rest.
We have all seen our states become a socialist shadow of what they once were.

No kidding. I was born and raised in Massachusetts from long lines of families that were engaged from the beginning in all the major events of establishing freedom. As a teenager, I then had to ride my ten-speed over to Lexington and Concord and contemplate what it was all about. Because all of that was gone in 1960's Mass.

So, I left for New Hampshire. By the 70's the Massholes from south of the border were ruining that once great State. Time for the west. I tried Arizona for ten years and the wipes from CA were ruining it. Nevada. I arrived in Nevada in the late '80's. It was still quite free-willed, but the signs were there. Wyoming next. A breath of fresh air - for awhile. Back to Nevada, but the remotest possible corner - where most of the gold production occurs. But both Nevada and Wyoming are now besieged. Wyoming just has some better demographics. But real production of wealth is based on fossil fuels. They are also in the sights of the statists.

Sigh. It is now the philosophy of hiding in plain sight and watching the sh%$show! Freedom will prevail, but sadly, and so unnecessarily it seems, the cost of it must be realized all over again.

I'm slowly shaking my head as I read your words, Flootus5. The rot is spreading nationwide and your words describe your experience with it. Lexington and Concord were a long time ago and far too many have forgotten or were never told what happened there and why.
