We have been lied to so blatantly and often that we distrust everything. I was just thinking that in 1973 I was sent to Spain by my company to work with an affiliate in Barcelona. I was there a little over a month and it was a great experience for a young engineer/MBA that was born and raised in the a coalmine town in southern West Virginia. In order to travel to Franco's Spain, I needed a smallpox vaccination, a tetanus shot and a cholera shot to go along with my passport and a visa. I never questioned it. I went to the office of the company nurse and rolled up my sleeve and went about the activities for the passport and visa. While the worldwide danger of the diseases in question were diminishing at the time, there was still a danger and through broad immunizations the dangers today are minimal. What is different? Lies, lying governments, lying doctors, health officials and media have eroded all belief by the public expecting a dirty trick behind every utterance. This puts us in great peril.

As dangerous as covid can be in specific instances, it's not the monster presented to us by the people and agencies who were supposed to be in the know. Logic dictates if the plague wasn't the real threat there must have been another purpose to inflict mass hysteria and reshape society here and abroad, making us and them in this one aspect quite similar. A mark such as this can be used to facilitate many things, using the ability to buy, sell and trade as leverage to comply to whatever the "governor" wishes.
I find the accracy of what was written centuries ago, at a time when anything remotely like this wasn't even conceivable, even regionally, to be compelling.

So in NY you must either have the vaccine or proof of a negative Covid test. I don't think that's anyone's business. This is intrusive. We don't have proof someone doesn't have TB and if you walk past someone with TB who is coughing you will be exposed to it.

He classifies himself as a modern day Viking based on his heritage. It looks like a number of European counties are doing the same. So, it seems that the federal gov't is falling in line with a similar policy. It all fear based control of the population here and else where

It's interesting that the fear of loss of freedom leads to the loss of freedom.

I guess I'm just not spun up enough these days. In my 20 years in the military, one of the standard things I had to carry was my shot record. Since we could be given orders that required travel to foreign countries, we had to be able to show we'd been inoculated to both be prepared for any diseases in any area of concern, and to meet any country's vaccination requirements. I had a sizable list of inoculations, including for bubonic plague. The only one we didn't get beforehand was for yellow fever, since the vaccination was only effective for about six months, which meant we got it just before departure if we were traveling to a country where the disease was prevalent.

It would seem the EU has gotten careless with regard to inoculations compared to when I was in service. Back before there was an EU, there were a number of countries that had specific inoculation requirements for travelers, so shot records were common for civilian tourists as well.

What has changed is citizens' trust in their governments. Where in the past such measures were seen as a sign of the government caring for the health and well being of its citizens, today it's seen as a result of a number of nefarious motives: either it's a way to line the pockets of politicians in league with Big Pharma; or a way to actually spread disease instead of combat it; or simply to condition us to accept whatever the government dictates. Maybe I'm just not that cynical, or receptive to conspiracy theories.

I'm the daughter of a southern Baptist minster, Culture, so I know that verse quite well.
It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I first heard about vaccine passports.
That's exactly what I'm going to say to anyone suggesting the vaccine to me.
If they try to sanction me for it, I'll sue on religious grounds.

I think maybe a number tattooed on your arm? It seemed to work before to ID who's been accounted for. 3 numbers for 1st shot and 3 more for 2nd dose (for J&J vaccine, you get the full 6 right away). Had a shot record while in the military, don't remember ever being asked to show it in 20+ years in the service.

how can they do this, without intentionally being murderers? Regardless of stance on vaccine, some people are allergic and will die from any vaccine, some also have had severe reactions in the past which made it sure death were they to take any vaccine again. This is just one step to be sure all get vaccinated, then as such, are susceptible to any other strain, and will be killed by what the first vaccine did to their immune system. This is their planned march, using immigrants, to wipe out milions to billions of people and get world gov. with contoallable population. CDC went before Congress this week to worn of such a scenario, but without saying the mRNA set it all up, and Biden followed with the endless immigrants. They all need to be in jail.

I warned many about this long ago. After softening us with taking basic rights away for those who don't comply they'll probably just turn to brutal force.
