The Gray Curtain Descends, Part 2, by Robert Gore at Straight Line Logic

Ashli Babbitt’s death, if it is to mean anything at all, should be the cold slap of reality across the faces of those who haven’t grasped the nature of what we face. To ignore the risk that breaching an Imperial Sanctum would be met with violence was pure foolishness. The demonstrators who entered the Capitol could have been murdered en masse. Any expectation that their murderers would receive justice from the Corruptocracy would be delusional naiveté.

No more foolishness or naiveté. Any supposedly peaceful protest will be infiltrated by agent provocateurs bent on making trouble for our cause (including the protests being advertised for next week). The totalitarians will do what they do until they’re completely defeated. This is war, which calls for the unremitting exercise of cold, ruthless rationality. We will administer justice and show mercy when appropriate, but we will expect or receive neither from the other side.

Let’s get on with it.

"governments are the enemy and are destined to collapse, then the opposition should do everything possible to hasten that collapse. In the US, twenty-five million people, about a third of Trump’s voters, simultaneously withdrawing their financially intermediated assets would spread panic across our massively over-leveraged, inextricably interconnected globe."

    I couldn't agree more, Robert.
I have been promoting a consumer strike for years.
Selling all shares of the enemy companies and exiting the market at the top is a wise strategy, too.

Having some of those funds in another currency outside the US may also be wise, but which currencies will be safe?

I agree that young hackers will be invaluable in the coming battle.
The state is building the death star and they will not hesitate to use it. It must be hacked before it is operational.
The boomers have no idea how to fight the battle that is imminent.

I read your essay and found that it corroborates my philosophy. All these years I had an inkling it would come down to a possible Civil War. I just hope thinking will prevail before emotional violence. The Separatists must plan and evaluate for every possible confrontation to win every skirmish and to wear down the totalitarian protectors. Cells must be set up in every village, town & city where possible. No lose lips! The current communication network of the internet and cellphone mustn't be used. Be aware of infiltrators. A system of couriers would have to be established. The people involved as you mentioned must be tech savvy. small clandestine machine shops & makers need to created in remote unassuming areas to supply the resistance. Adequate supplies must be on hand to keep events moving to win and not be cut off like what happen to the Confederacy.

There are alternatives to fighting. We should really study Ghandi. And MLK. Lech Walesa. You don’t want to enter a melee against a sea urchin. Truly Going Galt as in consumer strike. Minimalism. Quitting your engineering job and jobbing down. Your average Antifa is incapable of replacing your average patriot in the workplace. But not so in the reverse. Limit tax liability. Starve the beast. Take their jobs. Take their welfare. I’m not saying in a metaphorical sense. If you don’t completely STOP the economic engine then at least get it running on 2 cylinders. And there’s literally NOTHING they can do about it. Gentrification of the workplace. Let the market choose who is more qualified. We know who it will be.

"Given what they and their accomplices have done to Americans and people around the world, they should live in perpetual, mortal terror. "
Hopefully, they will live in terror for a very short time before their reward at the gallows.

Makes me want to befriend a good vet so I can take some tranquilizer darts with me to the next protest. Anyone near me trying to foment violence gets a discrete poke then nighty-night. Also in my pocket will be zip-ties.

Certainly...they can't let us leave. We're the golden goose. Without us they have nothing.

And, as far as "Until recently most of those on our side didn’t even realize we were at war." This is what I've been saying for a few years. My colleagues would express shock at the level of violence levied at those who would dare stand in line to hear Milo Yiannopoulos speak, or attend a Trump speech (steel poles cracking their heads, bike locks, bricks smashing heads). I'd just say, "They realize this is war. We don't."

Well written piece - as usual. I suspect our movement will gain great traction when the impending financial collapse occurs. It's just a matter of time when we morph into the Weimer Republic. That's when it is going to get really ugly. The question will be "where do we go from there."
