Clutching their food stamps

Along with the takers being immoral, low-information voters, they will never have some things: true wealth and success, and respect. They will continue to clutch their food stamps and O-phones. Yet, as pathetic as they are, they have yet to feel the effects of the inevitable economic collapse under their own weight. My conservative friends, when there is no more money for them to take from us, we will need to defend ourselves anew.

Money is just a tool, to facility trade. Almost anything can serve as money. The collapse you mention occurs with little uniformity. For example, Cleveland Ohio collapsed in 2009, while most of Virginia is still strong. One has great opportunity to build a Galt's Gulch in a collapsed area, since people there see few viable alternatives. Creating money for them can be very powerful, but power also attracts the attention of those who hold power. In such a context, friends make a better defense than guns. Friends also take a lot more time and attention than guns.

Hi tpatter4, I'm not a conservative but I agree with your post. I went "Galt" four years ago and now I enjoy watching the circus. Those who are still working and paying taxes are merely shoveling sh!t against the tide. Sooner or later, they'll have a can full and stop it.
