Fauci's Opening Day Baseball Pitch As Errant As His Epidemiological Projections

Perhaps I am being a little unfair about the baseball pitch given Fauci's age and how difficult it is to project epidemiological spread. Nonetheless, this ought to be an ad for a Galt 2020 campaign.

Thanks for posting, JB. đź‘Ť He's been throwing off speed to the public for years. Many people have been brainwashed to expect control from government. This year should be a lesson on what to really expect from shifty con-men who use government to cheat the customer (and taxpayers.)

Well, I am not sure of Fauci's age, but didn't Trump do something similar, either throwing out the first ball, or throwing to kids on the White House lawn? His was nothing to be ashamed of! Also, while I know that the people throwing to President Trump were making it fairly easy, I didn't see him drop anything either (doesn't take much to impress me when it comes to things I don't know much about :-) )

To be fair I can't throw for beans myself but gee whiz was that awful. Was he trying to shoot a basket he kind of pushed it up upwards. Did he not think to practice?

Looked like either the guy had never thrown a baseball at all or he had bad tennis elbow. He has an infielder's throwing motion (cocked his arm but didn't extend) but he failed to square his feet and step toward the plate before throwing, which is why the ball went so wide. The distance is a lot harder than people think, as the 60 feet six inches to home plate with any speed requires a decent arm to begin with.

This from a Little League All-Star pitcher who hasn't thrown a meaningful baseball in years. ;)
