“What happened to Michael Brown should never happen to any American. What happened after his death should never happen in this country. But it is happening, and only the truth will overcome the chaos.”

The truth will make the chaos worse, Bill. (But so be it.)

Yup, even if Brown had beat the tar out of the officer, the people that are stupid enough to think that this was a good excuse to loot stores that had nothing to do with the shooting would still want the officers head. I respect their right to protest but looting is not part of it.

I wonder, especially since there is clear footage, if the looters will ever be brought to court. They are thieving criminals, they destroyed a business, and they should have to pay restitution. I hear no one talking about this...as if it's justifiable behavior. Did Holder visit the looted businesses? Talk to the business owners? Talk about investigating and prosecuting those responsible?

I certainly hope so but pretty sure Holder won't be the one to bring them to justice even if it was within his scope of duties, which I think is not. I am not quite sure why he is even getting involved.

"I am not quite sure why he is even getting involved".......Because, he like the president, is a race baiter. Neither of them would have their position except for their race. This sort of manufactured controversy is tailor made for the race pimps of our society.

There are so many stories out there I do not know what to believe about Michael Brown but I totally agree that what happened after should never have happened to the country.

It seems possible to me that the police officer was shooting to wound Mr. Brown as he approached, not kill him. However, at the last opportunity to save himself, the officer shot to kill.

If the officer is deemed innocent or the grand jury refuses to indict because of overwhelming evidence, there is no doubt there will be more rioting. But consider who is doing the rioting. If the justice system and the media, in the event of the policeman's innocence, point out just who the rioters are, their records and bios, where they come from and what they have to gain.
Then point out who the leaders are. Probably wont happen, but if it did, the reality of the charade will open a few eyes. Maybe.

The problem is that in this instant gratification world, people can’t wait for the truth, nor it seems do they want to hear anything other than their interpretation of the truth. Justice should be blind, but you have a President and his AG both biasing the outcome. I have heard things from both sides, but I still don’t know the truth. The Grand Jury will determine if there is even a case (I hope it doesn’t rush to judgement as in the Zimmerman case). All this takes time, but a lot of people want vigilantly justice. The law is to be obeyed, even if you don’t like what happened. Breaking the law to protest what happened just shows what a thin veneer of civilized behavior some people have.

If Michael Brown actually took multiple bullets and kept coming, he was on Angel Dust. No mention of this possibility (probably) in the media.

We don't currently have a President. He has served his purpose, now he's on an extended vacation. The next President (if a Republican) had better be good at handling multiple crises from the moment he takes the oath of office. If the next President is Dimocrat, it won't really matter.
