"A federal judge ruled Wednesday that he would not halt an effort by the Trump administration to restrict Central American migrants’ ability to apply for asylum in the U.S.
The order from U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly of the District of Columbia came in response to a lawsuit filed by Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition and the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), two immigration advocacy groups."
Perhaps some little amount of sanity and legal sense is return to the Fereral Judiciary.
I could be dreaming but I really hope not.

A little sanity. Hopefully the door opens and some more gets through.

Roberts sure didn't help when he voted with the communists that the executive branch didn't explain their reason for doing something well enough, so it is denied. Since when do motives affect legality?

I don't think a judge has any say in this matter. Unless I'm mistaken this is entirely federal jurisdiction and the President is well within his executive range of authority to place this type of restriction and even halt immigration with good cause. Without looking, I wouldn't at all be surprised if there was ample precedent.

No one is entitled to come into this country without permission, particularly those with potential to or the increased likelihood to cause harm..

PC thingy here. They aren't 'aliens', they are immigrants. We do want to maintain a certain level of correctness, don't we? Someone needs to do us up a dictionary. I really don't care, however. It's more fun not knowing.

You can't get Perfect Justice from imperfect people. We elected a President and it seems an awful lot of people don't want to acknowledge him. They can suck it up. He's not leaving.

I think the term used a lot by Mueller was Purview.
Immigration is completely out of the hands, (Perview) of the federal Judiciary.

"Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) "

    Just what are immigrant's rights?

When you go to any country as an immigrant, first you have obligations to abide by that country's laws. Something nor seen from many coming to this country.

Then pops up "organizations" like CAIR (the same that Omar used for her anti-Israel outbursts) telling them they have rights.

In fact, they have more rights than native citizens of the country.

Only an imbecile would accept that reasons.
