Accidentally Prophetic Book About Lying Government and USA Collapse
When I wrote the science fiction novel "The Seven-Point Star" in 2009 and revised it last year 2019, it was intended to be a challenge to organized medicine and government overreach. Toward its end, the government lies about a spreading infection and its treatment, and the USA collapses.
Much to my surprise, the novel not only is an attack of government's meddling in health care, but also a frighteningly accurate prediction of the false information about an infection and the collapse of our society.
It's far more relevant now than it was six months ago (early 2019).

More recently, I wrote a short prequel to that novel that is a medical mystery story. As does my older and full-length novel, it includes alternative-medicine concepts and challenges organized medicine. http://www.harshman.name/brightwriter... My ex-wife got a restraining order against me, and I am pretty sure this mystery novel is why.
