Given the (self-proclaimed) integrity and consistency of progressives, I would expect them to condone knife attacks like this. I eagerly await any research to be published, but I'm pretty sure that knives have a much lower carbon footprint than firearms. Knives have to be the most responsible weapon of the environmentally conscious violent killer. Perhaps a new clause to that effect should be proposed for the Green New Deal.

People do not become violent sociopaths because weapons are available. Limiting the availability of weapons causes the criminally intended to be creative and find other means.
