- 1226Posted by term2 4 weeks ago to They're Getting NervousI have realized that the claims by the left about how horrible the right is, usually should be levied back on the left (psychological projection). Kamala really does lie through her teeth a LOT. There is just NO justification for calling Trump Hitler. And just how much tax relief is she going to give 100 million so called middle class people. How is that paid for? Probably through inflation...
- 1227Posted by term2 4 weeks ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearAI will make the predictions of the actuaries more accurate. For example, I can look at the bills for restaurants I have frequented over the last year to predict how much I might spend the next time I go to a particular restaurant- BUT if I used AI to look at typical inflation numbers or local restaurant prices I might get better estimates.
- 1228Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearLots of flim-flams out there.
One could spend one's life and fortune trying to find one that delivers.
I've seen enough 'social change' to last several lifetimes and much is detrimental, imo. - 1229Intellectual degeneration hits the target exactly. I've seen it as a devolution, because the resort to things material, instead of enlightening and higher levels of existence, is always easier than evolution.
- 1230Seems that quote from Rand can be taken in a positive sense, or a negative sense. Both, I guess. Like intelligence, it can be used for good or evil.

- 1232Well, that's just it. What, exactly, is their goal or aim, as an organization? I'm signed up for emails, but I still haven't got it figured out.
One article that was mentioned today concerned 'social change'. So I sent an email requesting just what was meant by 'social change'. I mean, have we got a 'fundamental transformation of the world' going on here? - 1233The Gulch Daily Digest did not appear today so I peeked into NEW and found this.
About this, this is just great!
All in all, it all demonstrates that the Democrat Party has devolved then devolved and finally totally devolved into a special kind of stupid
with apes having more common sense when dealing with stark reality, but never forget those gutless appeasing RINOS.
Speaking of which, yesterday I heard on my car radio that Mitch McConnell is about to retire. YAY!
About my car radio, gotta go to a couple of places I have to go to right now. - 1234Posted by Lucky 4 weeks, 1 day ago to Monday memesDob- this is a good set in both quality and quantity.
A comment on the one with the word Harris. I have been watching vids of her speaking. My reaction goes across disgust, anger, and revulsion. The f word can be used more than one way - I'll choose the other meaning. - 1235Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks, 1 day ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearNot until now.
I haven't seen evidence that such organizations are effective, but if they did have a formula for success, they'd probably not announce it. - 1236In good time.
By the way, and this is off-off-topic, but have you ever heard of the Tavistock Institute? - 1237Posted by Lucky 4 weeks, 1 day ago to The Terrors of Ideological Warfare in Israel and GazaA good historical review, thanks. WDonway.
It was good to see Ayn Rand mentioned as an important philosopher.
That Islamism (distinguish from Islam) is supported in areas with a predominant Muslim population can be understood.
I explain the support from China and the ex-Soviets as just pragmatism (the enemy of my enemy is my friend).
But why it appears to have support in the West, eg on US university campuses, needs some thought. I put it down to the worship of failure. The spread of intellectual degeneration associated with Marxism has led to support of failure in groups that can be classed as victims even tho' the problem is irrationality, indolence, and superstition in those groups. - 1238Posted by kddr22 4 weeks, 1 day ago to Monday memesnice collection and action thoughts.
- 1239It's very revealing. In this book, House (whom I have called Wilson's Svengali) writes of policies that would appeal to the progressive Wilson.
Another good book, "Thomas Woodrow Wilson, A Psychological Study" that Freud wrote with the assistance of William C. Bullitt, was published in 1967, after Freud had died, and explored what Bullitt and Freud described as a 'savior of the world' complex, starting with stories from his childhood. Bullitt was a diplomat, and had been sent to Lenin to negotiate on behalf of the Paris Peace Talks. If I remember correctly, it was then that Bullitt lost any admiration for the Russian Revolution. - 1240Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks, 1 day ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearBy all means enlighten me.
- 1241I will need to read House's 'intimate papers' first, before I decide to further research IN THAT VEIN. I probably won't do that, because I think you have been led astray. Somewhat.
- 1242Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks, 1 day ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearNo, but I just downloaded it for reading tomorrow.
- 1243Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks, 1 day ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearIt's all in there.
The entire disgusting scheme to take complete control of the
government, the economy, the world, courtesy of a gang of
bankers meeting at Rockefeller's island hideaway in secret.
It could change your understanding completely. - 1244I'm still back in the 15th century!! I'll get there sooner or later.
Colonel House, Wilson, Paul Warburg and certain other German bankers, were involved. In fact, I think Warburg was the first head of the Fed.
By the way, freedom, I only read primary sources, since there is no scholarship in modern scholarship, and 16th, 17th century English is tough going!! (And I hate to say this, since you so kindly referred it to me, but cute titles turn me off.!)
I should add, I have Colonel House's four volume set of his "Intimate Papers". I believe he relates some of how the Fed came about. I'll start there. By the way, did you ever read "Phillip Dru, Administrator", by Edward Mandel House? Speaking of House. - 1245Posted by freedomforall 4 weeks, 1 day ago to A Radical Plan To Save America’s Economy In One YearThe Creature From Jekyll Island details the planning to form the US Fed.
- 1246I'll pass that on to management!
- 1247And I like the one about arresting the poll watchers. Nothing like a little fear to get a stool pigeon to talk!
- 1248I love the AOC meme!

I think Oscar Wilde said: America went from barbarism to decadence without the usual intervening years of civilization. And there's your proof!!
Well, Stalin has said destroy a country's morals and you can make them believe anything. Loosely paraphrased.
