I am an Ayn Rand scholar and have studied her works for years. I lived next door to Richard B DeMille in Montecito and met her at my wedding in 1969 along with Richard's father Cecil B. DeMille, her first employer in Hollywood. At the time, I was editor of California Digest, and she was an editor at large for the L.A. Times. A few years ago I wrote an autobiography in which I compared my personal life to Ayn Rand's fictional characters. I was interested in producing my own movie of Atlas Shrugged but your version was already licensed and being worked on at the time. My book is called The New Industrialist. I am having it put on a new website called Newindustrialistbook.com. I dedicated it to the memory of Ayn Rand and call it an Autobiographical sequel to Atlas Shrugged. I plan to send copies to anyone who is an Ayn Rand enthusiast. in 2002 I founded Hightec City and spent several million dollars of my own money trying to build Laizze-faire City ten miles south of Las Vegas in a hidden valley. I was harassed by the government and the Las Vegas mouchers who controlled the town and eventually tried and convicted of securities fraud and sent to prison for ten years. My trial was virtually identical to Hank Reardon's and Howard Roark's. Please take the time to read at least Chapter 8 of my book, titled, "Could the Ressurection of Ayn Rand Save the World. Every Ayn Rand enthusiast will enjoy my conversation with her and her fictional characters in a typical Las Vegas impersonation show which I held at Railroad Pass Casino (as a tribute to Dagney Taggert and the Nevada Railroad Museum's Train to Nowhere.
