Time for directive 10-289
I'm seeing discussion about whether or not Burger King should be *allowed* to re-organize its operations as a multi-national corporation. Articles with titles such as "Should Burger King be allowed to..." Sigh. Life imitating (objectivist) art.
People and businesses - for now - have choices. I wonder how long that will continue in this environment and with this regime?
I'm not giving up, Gulchers. But I have to go shopping--at my retail shop, not of choice, but of necessity--Dollar Tree!!
I was already pissed, and when I heard that, I couldn't stop from saying as I walked past, very loudly, "... and the communist internationale will save... us... allll" naturally I was the one hated by the ignorant drones who think their paycheck is their right and the work required of them in exchange an unfair burden on them.
My input wasn't appreciated. But the incredible stupidity behind the slaver making the statement surprised me. Even though leftist, I'd always thought he was somewhat intelligent, but he's just another unthinking progressive drone, who thinks he has the right to force people to develop technology HE likes, using money confiscated from the fruits of their labor, in order to (hopefully) put the large producers, including his employer, out of business.
Using long words in a condescending sneer (typical of those on the left) obviously does not make one intelligent.
Edit to add: I SO wanted to tear into him, to ask him to use his own money and knowledge to develop said solar technology, or to quit the corporate giant he works for and start his own corporation, as he's so much wiser than those running them. But, I had work to do, and I was so furious already, I didn't need any more fuel on my fire.
I'm on the wax crew at Walmart #0564.
I was pissed because I too often have to deal with a work environment straight out of 20th century motor company. (in fact, one manager and I have a running gag; when she sees I'm pissed, she asks if I'm going to be wearing my 20th century hat the next night...)
Thank God she's back tonight...
Should they be "allowed" to remain a proud American company without being taxed to death?
It became the norm in 2012.
It will become the law in 2016.
