Jon Summers: Trump's $2 trillion temper tantrum -- President needs to put on big boy pants and get to work

"This isn’t the first time we’ve seen President Trump have a temper tantrum. But Wednesday’s was one of epic proportions. Because it didn’t just play out in the Rose Garden where the cameras were, it started inside the White House where, just moments before, the president stormed out of a meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. In doing so, Trump blew up a plan to put Americans to work by investing $2 trillion in America’s infrastructure including roads, bridges, and airports.""Remember the last time Trump walked out of a meeting with these same people? The government shut down, small businesses were hurt, and 800,000 federal workers went without pay for more than a month. And while it probably felt good at the time, Trump came out the biggest political loser because he wanted credit for shutting down the government."
Sorry if a clip from Fox News uosets anyone, they had the best clip.

It doesn’t matter if the President talks with the Dem's or not. They will not negotiate with him. The government shutdown was because Pelosi and Schumer said specific items Trump wanted on the table would not be there (Dreamers etc.) so he walked out. They, the Dems, still haven’t moved an inch or resolving the immigration problems and issues.
The same is true this time. They want to impeach this president, and nothing will stand in their way. There have already been at least 4 investigations of Trump coving the same evidence that is now wanted by the Dems. If they spent the same effort working on behalf of the American people and trying to find common ground with the President and Republicans this country would be in much better shape.
All they want is a reversal of the 2016 election. In order to do this they need to get a conviction of Trump on the impeachment charges. Lets say they do. Then Pence becomes President. The attacks will start on him and he will go through the same process as Trump but on a collapsed time line. The House will also refuse to confirm any VP pick he makes, making Pelosi the next in line. Then we will have impeachment and conviction of President Pence. The Pelosi becomes President. Imagine, President Pelosi. That is a nightmare we would not recover from.

Why do you post this rubbish?
The writer is a paid propagandist for Democrats.
"Jon Summers is the former communications director for Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev"

Interesting how there is no mention of Pelosi accusing him of a "cover-up" in the article- - - - or did the article just miss that part?

Neither do I believe he "stormed out", as she is the only one stating the same - And Shouldn't Pelosi bear some responsibility for sabotaging the meeting moments before by making an absurd, unsupported, accusation? Just a bit of a one-sided article.

Numbers I've see indicate coverage of the political realm are about 90% negative 10% Positive for the president. Not much different for Dem vs Republican/Conservative. With the exception of Fox News channel and the Washington Times and some of the conservative sites (Judicial Watch, Heritage Society etc.) most of the web sites are liberal/progressive in content.
Perhaps my perception is biased by the sites I visit being conservative in outlook, ya think?

mminnick, "Perhaps my perception is biased by the sites I visit being conservative in outlook, ya think? " if you are a conservative (and that is a label), then you should be able to see this was a hit piece that had nothing to do with facts. Consider if you ran a business and your CFO and CIO come in and tell you all the time how they are not fixing IT, and they have no idea where the money went and that it is all your fault, and by the way we know you are screwing the secretary and her dog...wouldn't you really be upset when the media plasters that all over? Trump meets for infrastructure and the two criminal clowns berate him for collusion and lying. If he was Patton, he would have just got the pearl handle pistols out and shot the SOBs....and his approval would probably go up 25%....

Stop watching cnn, msnbc and reading media matters and politico.

I wouldn't have worked with them either...would have sent them to the wood shed.

I don't want to "Invest" in the nations infrastructure, I can't even afford the criminal infrastructure here in CT. Let every state do their own stuff and the rest be privatized.

When I was hired as an Executive Secretary to the #2 man in a Fortune 500 company (I was 23 years old), I learned a very good lesson. A young vice president was having a relationship with one of his employees. I asked my wise Aunt Hazel if I should alert my boss. She asked, 'Did they tell you they were having an affair? Did you see them having an affair?' I responded 'No'. She said, 'If your employer questions you about this, your response will be...I didn't see them having an affair, I wasn't told they were having an affair.' He asked, I answered. End of story. Did you see Trump throwing a fit? Or did someone tell you he did? He looked very collected to me and Ms. Pelosi looked frantic!

miminnick, me dino has been ignoring all of your dinosaurian floods of pasting on Fox articles here but a friend, a fellow Gulcher who has already tried to reason with you, asked me to make a confrontation. Something I used to do for a living.
I'm sure you are an okay dude in other respects but you are annoying us.
Take a chill pill. You're singing to the choir here. Lot of us reads and watches a lot of Fox in the first place.
When you settle down, I'll stop ignoring your threads. Pretty please with sugar on top?

    Shut down the federal government.

    Please.

He needs to put on his big boy pants (again) and go after regulations and taxes. He's remained distracted for too long...

Only so much you can do as POTUS, he had a sewage tank first 2 years run by a traitor Ryan, and now he has a sewage tank taken over by the lunatic asylum inmates. Without a House of rational people, our system breaks down, the sheeple who elect these morons need to have their voter cards shredded....

This article is a piece of Schiff.
It is perfect example of projection.
The Demonrats throw a temper tantrum about
Cover ups when their anointed saint Mueller couldn’t frame our great President. After leaving a meeting about impeaching Trump , they expect 45 to get played by them again. Fugedaboudit.

I'm take a bigger picture view. Until the systemic problem of these absurd attention-seeking games and the incentives that promote them, it really doesn't matter who's winning their little games. I would be happy if Pelosi were president, but it wouldn't solve the problems. If Pence were president, at least the clownishness would stop, but he would be a more effective at getting things done, and I actually think it's better when thing don't get done. So ideally we'd have a 1990s situation with firebrands in the House pushing for spending cuts and end up with a balanced budget. But the problem still remains. I think (am not sure) that the problem is a natural consequence of gov't going beyond its Constitutional role. That's the problem that needs to be fixed.
