Nadler claims there is 'open collusion' between Trump and Russia despite Mueller findings

"Despite Attorney General William Barr saying that Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence of wrongdoing regarding the Trump campaign’s contact with Russian operatives, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., concluded on Sunday that there is still evidence of “open collusion.”
"Speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee said that the meeting between Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Russian associates in 2016 at Trump Tower signified that “there was in plain sight open collusion with the Russians.”

"In a four-page letter sent late last month, Barr wrote that Mueller's investigation did not find evidence that President Trump's campaign "conspired or coordinated" with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.
The letter to Congress also said Mueller's report "does not exonerate" the president on obstruction and instead "sets out evidence on both sides of the question." Barr said there was not sufficient evidence to determine an obstruction of justice offense against Trump."
If any person on the street behaved and talked as the Congressman is doing he would be confined to a mental ward for observation and treatment. He (Nadler) believes in something that is , by all evidence untrue to the point of absurdity.
This has got to stop. This is also a result of the GOP loosing control of the House in the 2018 elections. Can you imagine the goings on if Schumer where running the Senate?

This is where Barr should subpoena Nadler (and Schiff) and have them testify under oath. They're not immune as Legislators from being called as witnesses - which is precisely the status they are promoting themselves as. Call them and put them under oath to testify and provide any material evidence they may have. Then after they are done "leak" the entire thing to the media to expose that they had nothing to offer. Disgrace and discredit them by putting their feet to the fire to either put up - or shut up. And we could all benefit from the latter!

Hey, Nadler, me dino has also been good at making up stories ever since I was a little kid. Just ask my four littler brothers, who I used to entertain on long car trips.
Me dino can make up a quick one right now. Once upon a time this planet was visited by Brain Eaters From Venus.
Cruising along in their flying teacup, those vile space aliens spotted Nadler driving all alone on a remote country road.
    The End,

I know this is not the main topic here but....
it is all inter-connected. I cannot believe Julian Assange did not spend all that time in the embassy without setting up a data dump in the event he was ejected and arrested. True, he will be incommunicado. But, I cannot imagine he did not designate someone to "spill the beans". I believe he has info on the Seth Rich murder. His info will throw a rope around NObama, the Klintons and the demoncrats.
The British will try to silence him if there is evidence that will embarass them as they claim.
The demoncrats want to stir up and maintain the circus around Barr and tamp down whatever Assange and his underground support system.

Nadler is joined by Schiff and the biggest idiot of all, Eric Swalwell, who is running for President. Swalwell is feverishly anti 2nd amendment, saying that those who don't voluntarily turn in their "assault weapons" should be executed. He is a maniacal, dangerous individual, much like Adolf Hitler. God help us all if this evil creature is ever in a position of power.

the open collusion was between the FBI, Hillary Clinton and her campaign, and Russia (and who knows what other countries) to keep Trump from being elected and then find SOME way to get rid of him.

I hope that somehow this is brought out. I would love to see Hillary in prison, as well as the FBI people who used their positions to go after a sitting president.

I believe when the fullest part of the Mueller report is out we will see there was some interaction between the campaign and Russians but he states none of it rises to the level they could prosecute on. Nadler is barking at the moon but nothing new about that from NY reps or the Dimwits in general.
When our opponents are digging a hole the best thing to do is toss them a bigger shovel. I hope America is watching these fools and have a long enough memory span for 2020.

So Barr is "very biased"? And the Democrats are not?
And what about Obama's remark to a foreign government in 2012 about having a freer hand after his upcoming election?

I keep hoping that Trump will be bold enough to end the Russian enmity, form a rapprochement for peaceful trade and cultural exchange, setting the stage for mutual disarmament and war no more. If we could do it with Japan, Germany and China, to name just a few, we can do it with Russia. Stop demonizing each other, stop threatening. Set a civilized example. Is Trump deal-maker enough for it?

America could do it with Japan because Japan had been totally defeated. Ditto with Germany. As to China, as far as I know they are still a totalitarian state, and I still refuse to buy any of their products. I think what Nixon did in "normalizing" with them in 1971 was terribly wrong.

Their products are likely included in what you do buy, but I applaud your effort.

Maybe they are; I look to see where the article was made, but in the case of "and global products" I usually give it the benefit of the doubt.--I really think there should be an outright embargo. I'm all for free enterprise, but that is not the "freedom" to commit crimes, such as chaining up people and kidnapping them and putting them in gulags.

This is politicians seeking attention. A good investigation didn't find President Trump's campaign conspired with Russia.

There is strong evidence the Russian government has been spreading divisive fake news and fake demonstrations before, during, and after the election. It's not about any one politician or election.

The Russian government supported all candidates who questioned the legitimacy of US institutions: Trump, Sanders, Stein. I don't think they thought any of them had a chance. They just wanted angry Americans doubting their institutions. They lucked out that one of the candidates they supported won, and they doubly lucked out that the winner bizarrely continued condemning the integrity of the election and US institutions even after winning.

The day after the election, they organized anti-Trump rallies. They continued organizing fake protests, sometimes with protest and counter protest organized by the same Russian trolls.

It's irresponsible to carry on accusing any one candidate of conspiring with them. It's good we have good legal institutions investigating leaders. It's good they didn't find any wrongdoing. By ignoring the facts of what's working in American, politicians play right into the trolls' hands.

I live in a world, which you think is delusional and/or wrong, where human effort and reason has created amazing prosperity and liberty. In this world, we have good institutions to be sure top leaders are not breaking the law and to be sure they don’t use the levers of power to stay in power. It is worlds away from coups d’etat and having traitors in the government operating so openly that even average citizens not working in the government can see it.

"where human effort and reason has created amazing prosperity and liberty. In this world, we have good institutions to be sure top leaders are not breaking the law and to be sure they don’t use the levers of power to stay in power."

That is a phenomenon that describes government less and less.

Yes, it started out with the intention of establishing standards that benefit the people of the country, however, these standards have been abused and distorted by the left. They have become ingrained to the extent that they are replacing the previous standards.

We must fight against that and not let it erode "prosperity and liberty" any more than it already had.

"That is a phenomenon that describes government less and less."
I agree with the risk but not the direction of the trend. The normal state for human history is government that is intrusive and sort of a mob-like protection bargain. There was no pristine time when government respected everyone's rights and operated according to rule of law. So I don’t see see any erosion of prosperity. We actually have amazing prosperity, which could be even more amazing if gov’t became less intrusive, less rent-seeking, less costly, etc.

The whole left/right thing is part of the problem, IMHO. It helps when it keeps people who want more government spending and intrusion fighting with one another instead of getting things done. It hurts, though, if it makes people lose sight of reason. I wonder if some of those people consuming empty partisan calories would be more reasoned in different circumstances.

So I am similarly cautiously optimistic. I’m concerned that we’ll go back to the previous standards of ignorance, fear, and force, which is a normal state in history. But reason delivers the goods, which makes it hard to reject.
