    Why don't we start electing people to Congress who think for themselves?

      Good idea. One small problem... Neither part wants people who think for themselves. Just look at the trouble Trump has had tring to get thinks passed that the Republicans for multiple time when Obama was the Prez. When they came up for a vote with Trump ready to sign, they were voted down by turn-coat RINOs.

    A lot cowardly career politicians (such as RINOs) do not care to stand out unless they aspire to some higher office.
    A lot of those who do dare to stand out often look like jerks. Case in point, lookit the Green New Deal jackasses for presidential candidates.
    Not to overlook the more mainstream for progressive pukes like Cackles The Evil Hag and Creepy Feelly Joe.

      Is it just Wisconsin where public record is kept as to whether an individual has voted in elections? Got some campaign stuff listing the years that I voted. Since the ballots are coded with numbers, I would suspect that it would be possible to find my ballots to see for whom I voted.

        In Minnesota,I recieved for my wife and I records of our voting in recent past elections. It was the first time I had ever seen anything like it.
        We recieved it Just before the mid terms. The thing is it was not accurate as it missed my voting for a couple of the years but had it my wife listed.

    Considering the number of trun coat RINOs, we have to remember that both parties have a similar goal - one world socialism. One party is up front about it, the other pretends higher values, but vote for the same as Dams. None care for the constituents' freedoms and goals Big government is not our ally..

    It is rare indeed that people would find commonality on any subject and equally rare is a subject that comes up that makes good sense for everyone.

    However, what we have seen lately is a sure sign that they are all crazy.

    The one and only thing I have to respect from the party of Democraps is the fact they have learned how to stick together in complete lock step. Just think of all the good that could have been done if the Republicans learned what Team really means.

    Both sides of the aisle do it eith the Dems doing it most often. They seldom break ranks, especially in the House. It is more common in the Senate to get an occasional defection (a certain West Virginia Senator comes to mind as well as several Republicans).That said, I think we are likely to see mor fracturing as the Socialists gain strength in the house at the expense of the somewhat more moderate Democrats.
    Republicans tend to vote the way the people who elected them want them to. Dems tend to vote for what gets then power, constituents be damned.
