Boy the deep state will do anything to ensure a non politician ( unlike politicians who who grub their money under the table instead of over it). This says if you have any business, even if you step down from it, you have any connections to income from out of country (like selling things) then you are getting "emoluments". So then they can blackmail the President to continue to have his businesses (that he is no longer connected to because he had to drop them all in order to become President) operate. Boy, nothing like locking out the possible competition and ensure that we only have the same pool of corrupt Washington insiders to select from, as they have made political races to expensive to run, without all that illicit, probably illegal, campaign donations (ala Clintons).
