Yes. Thank you for posting. So many people seem to think pointing out how good things are means not taking seriously the world's problems and cases of not respecting people rights. It's good to look back to where we came from. We can admit things are really good and continue to work for more liberty.
There's still plenty of doom and gloom - for those who do not live in free nations. That is one thing that America has brought to the world - a beacon of freedom of ideas a a shining example of how prosperous we all could be.
For me, this was reinforced during and after the 2008 banking failures and recession. The American entrepreneur adjusted and persevered. Not a single politician understood this, and hardly any economist. Brian Wesbury was an exception.
The economic recovery, dragging the anchor of increasing regulation, was a product of rugged entrepreneurs swimming upstream against government interference. Obama deserves no credit for the recovery, slow as it was. He didn't build that.
Yes, and I've always been amazed at the ingratitude of so many people who have it better than anyone in the history of the world. I guess thy're like that because they've contributed nothing and certainly understand nothing.
The world is a mixed bag. As far as fiscal responsibility, it’s definitely getting worse. As far as courtesy is concerned, definitely getting worse. People in general are getting richer . As people classier today? Definitely not
Enjoy your Labor Day holidays ;^)
