Marva Collins, like Maria Montessori before her, really pissed off the public education monopoly. And a wonderful example of the virtue of selfishness.

Interesting backstory about the 1968 riots, the turnover of the population and teachers, the stupidity of the new teachers and the resistance of the teachers union to teaching.

  Education of children should be to give them the tools to think for themselves and then express those thoughts to others.
