Hi. My name is... PRIVATE. YOU CAN CALL ME BY CHOSEN NAME ON THIS SITE, 'HARD_ROAR'

I'm GLAD to have landed in THIS Gulch... YET, I HAVE TO CHECK YOU OUT, SAME AS YOU ARE CHECKING ME OUT.
SUFFICE TO SAY FOR NOW, THAT I WAS CHANGED FOREVER AT AGE 19, BY A NOVEL GIVEN TO ME AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT, "THE FOUNTAINHEAD." THE PRESENT CAME FROM MY GIRLFRIEND'S BROTHER, WHO DID NOT KNOW THE CONTENTS OF THE BOOK, BUT HE READ THE BACK COVER, SAYING IT WAS ABOUT AN ARCHITECT---AND ME, BEING AN ARCHITECTURAL STUDENT, HE FIGURED I'D LIKE IT.
WELL, I NOT ONLY LIKED IT, BUT IT DEFINED MY LIFE FOREVER, SINCE FROM THEN ON, IT CREATED MY OWN PERSONAL MEASURING STICK, ABOUT WHOM I WAS, WHERE I WAS HEADED, WHAT WAS GOOD, WHAT WAS BAD, AND THE DETAILED INTRICACIES, OF THE WHY.
AND I AM NOW AN OLD MAN. YET I HAVE NOT CHANGED ONE BIT. SO IT IS AN HONOR, TO ENTER THIS GULCH, AND I AM DOING IT FOR ENTERTAINMENT, AS I AM RETIRED. AND ALSO, FOR THE HARD FORTHCOMING DEBATE THAT I SHALL COMMENCE, OF PROPOSING THAT "THE FOUNTAINHEAD" IS RAND'S TOP MASTERPIECE, AND NOT "ATLAS SHRUGGED" (WHICH I ALSO LOVE, BUT CONSIDER SOMEWHAT FLAWED, AND THIS EVEN APPLYING AYN'S OWN TENETS).
AT ANY RATE, HERE I AM, HARD_ROAR.
AND THE ONLY OTHER NOVEL THAT HAD A SIMILAR LIFETIME EFFECT ON ME, NEARLY AS MUCH AS "THE FOUNTAINHEAD" DID, WAS DOSTOEVSKI'S "THE IDIOT," READ A YEAR LATER, AT 20. AND MAKE OF THAT, WHAT YOU WILL.
ENOUGH SAID.

Quick question: Is there a reason you're posting everything in all caps?
Something written in all caps is more difficult to read, which is why all caps are typically used sparingly, to emphasize a word or phrase. Plus, in a lot of forums, all caps indicates yelling or shouting (as if you're mad at someone or upset about something).
Welcome to The Gulch, HARD_ROAR.
HARD _ROAR is a moniker an Alabama allosaur can cotton to.
excellent, most of them.
mainly humorous,
but some tragic.
like the idiot that burned himself to death,
due to (the fictitious, imo) global warming.
consider modern u.s. a house of madness.
so thanks for reporting it cleverly, alabama.
For bombs I adopt the attitude of the rocket scientist of bygone days when humans weren't used as guinea pigs.
I just shrug and say, "Back to the old drawing board, which is the same as saying "When at first you don't succeed, try, try again.".
Posts I've initiated have been decreasing lately. I'm presently being distracted by other things.
is she the blonde babe model with the tramp 'come hither' look and nice hooters?
no.
name came from my interpretation of something ayn rand wrote, believe it or not.
