Very good article. It is quite difficult to summarize Atlas Shrugged in a few paragraphs but the writer managed to do it.
Unfortunately, much of the public likes "free stuff". The immediate future does not look good for rational argument. It is emotion, emotion, emotion leading us to the great model Venezuela.

Good article. Ocasio-Cortez won a local race with a very low turn out and the incumbent didn't campaign. My hope is that it is a fluke. Still can't deny that Obama and his people have lurched the Democratic Party further left. Rand foresaw all of this.

Only 50% of the voters vote and they vote 50-50 ' If a smooth talking candidate comes along and goes with what the Democrats actually want to do, ie free stuff for all and get the rich bastards the mob will rise up and sweep in a new era. It just takes 10% of the stay at home voters and 10 % is low hanging fruit.
The education or lack of it has rendered a huge number of young folks very susceptible to this crapp and the Rinos , yes you Bush's have never defended profit or producers but have called for kindlier gentler. Most Republican candidates won't even defend the theory of evolution cause they are terrified of the rollers.
Trump is doing his best but he is far from articulate so who will carry the liberty flag ??? Free stuff is very appealing to the mob through the ages and look around at the rest of the planet if you doubt it.
