I have cancelled all my Facebook accounts some time ago (yes, even the fake-named ones), and haven't watched TV in over a year.
Results:
1. I am more peaceful and find great happiness within myself.
2. I get needed and wanted information via internet and email, with appropriate aliases.
3. I am in control of my life and my existence, to the extent that is even possible, yet I assert I am a fully functioning member of society.
4. I have not enough time for all the idiots and doofuses out there, particularly the political ones.
5. I choose my friends, and nurture those relationships.
6. The negative relationships have ended.
7. Peace at last (almost).
I'm finding it easier to adjust to the fact that some people communicate irrationally. I ignore them, as they feel free to be outrageous online with statements that would garner them a healthy slug to the puss face to face.
Unfortunately it looks as if I should have my business running ads on Nosebook, and apparently it's difficult without being a member.
So ycandrea, how DO you feel?
