I had to read this twice to make sure I really understood this correctly. That in the midst of ballooning deficits, absolute incompetence while raising taxes on the people who actually produce something to add to GDP, they are giving THEMSELVES RAISES! I want to start a backlash campaign like when BOA backed off on hiking fees because they caught so much slack for looking ridiculously out of touch. This campaign states employees get raises when there is money in the budget and they have worked to a level of competence that merits a raise. When those things are not in place, it is morally reprehensible to hand out raises.
