    There are probably hundreds of quotes by Ayn Rand that would be appropriate to specific occasions, as this one is. It would be nice if someone would gather them together under one roof, so to speak. Maybe as a book.

    There's lots of Christmas traditions, Christmas trees from Germany, Santa Claus from Holland, and all that, but modern Christmas was invented 1841-1842 with the first commercial Christmas trees, the first commercial Christmas cards, and Charles Dickens's Christmas Carol.

    Yes! I hadn't seen that one from Rand. Of course, she nails it.

    One other important point...It doesn't "Exclude" Anyone!...no one is left out...even if one is a perverted idiot...Merry Christmas.
