Monster Black Hole Burp Surprises Scientists
So if I'm not mistaken, this is what happens on the other end of a black hole. Either that, or more incredibly, the polarity of a hole switched. I think better likely the first possibility.

What I picked up was that when the black hole "swallows" a star, half the mass is absorbed, have the mass is "burped" back out converted into light (jets). what do you mean by the "other end"? and what does "polarity of a hole switched" mean? I'm interested, but not really knowledgeable about black holes, so give me the popular science explanation. :)Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
