It's a good first step but the end goal always has to be unrestricted and unregistered carry by anyone and demanding adherence to the right to protect oneself wherever you are without govt interference. I never want the govt coming to my house to confiscate guns because they know that I registered my weapon with the govt.

Reading what should be an unnecessary ruling about our Second Amendment outside of Alabama makes me glad I live where I do. I feel quite safe for being armed in my own home. In fact, I feel quite safe changing a tire by a lonely road. Like any USA senior citizen freakin' should! Don't tread on this normally nice old fart. I can bang-bang bite!

Now all they need in DC is a dozen or so Gun Shops, some more promotion against guns by our government representatives to get the sales up, and you can bet the crime rate will drop. Of course Chicago and New York will never admit that gun laws are only to suppress the rights of law abiding citizens.

Every time I change a battery, DC gets it right. The storage devices cost very little and DC supplies me with a new reliable supply of non-alternating voltage suitable for the job I need it to do. Thanks Direct Current. Now Washington DC is another mater entirely. Forcing out nearly the opposite results.
