Give the Liberal Altruists what they want. In the case of security for our schools send them a magic wand or some pixie dust. That is what they believe is the solution to everything so why argue with them? They never listen to reason or logic so just send them a jar of something magical.
We (The Logical, practical and mentally functional) will deal with problems like school shooting (etc ---) with armed patrol officers, school administrators or whatever.
Give the feeble minded what they desire because they will NEVER accept reality.
