Hi, all! My name's Matt and I'm an illustrator and educator. I first discovered Ayn Rand pretty much right out of college. My beliefs and philosophies have been more or less in line with hers ever since I've had beliefs and philosophies...which made art school in New York an interesting experience (no real horror stories to speak of though, to be fair). I started with Anthem, then moved on to We The Living, The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged and have been picking away at shorter pieces and essays ever since! It was all pretty enlightening since, for a long time, the state of the world had sort of tricked me into thinking that my way of thought was "unusual." Never wrong...just more uncommon than I've since learned that it is. And now I'm here and glad to be so!
