I am not sure about inserting photos but my granddaughters are on their way from Florida to visit us in Maryland. My daughter put their picture on Facebook. The one on the left is 14, the one on the right is 20. I love them both but one of them brings tears to my eyes.

My generation was the first exposed to the philosophy of Ayn Rand. How many generations did it take for any of the current belief systems to take hold and how long have they lasted? Ayn Rand took from centuries of thought from some of the greatest philosophers and seeking objective, factual proof, created a rational system that requires that we reject most of everything the religious, educational and governmental leaders try to impose on us from birth. Each time we can pass along these ideas to another generation, we have made progress. I am claiming progress to the second power.

    Hi Coaldigger,
The pride and love felt for grandkids is a tremendously wonderful emotion
A top ten moment in my life happened recently as
I wrapped a towel around my wet chilly 24 month old granddaughter at the beach. As I picked her up she nestled her head into my shoulder and she said " I love you Grampy".
