I would vote for it myself!
It is a nice dream. Michigan has been losing business for years due to its non competitive high union costs.
The timing may be right or it just may be that like the other proposals that were defeated, it fell upon the basis of resident’s disapproval of tampering with the state constitution...
If Michigan does become a right to work state it could stem the exodus. Michigan was the only state to lose population in the last census… Of course the unions would not accept any responsibility for the loss of jobs and populace due to companies finding more lucrative locations to set up shop...
The Unions are still very powerful here so I would not wager on it. But hope springs eternal.
