Climategate 2.0: they knew they were lying

Herewith an article I wrote five and a half years ago. I updated key links through the use of the Web Archive ("Wayback Machine"--their trademark, not mine). I based this on the very first Climategate 1.0 article ever written: mine.

In view of the cries of anguish from the collectivism crowd over Donald Trump's pulling out of the Paris Agreement, I thought this review might be a propos.

AGW is of such enormous potential as a political tool it will never be abandoned by the collectivist left. The reality of AGW is irrelevant.

    Temlakos: well done.
Some 15 or more years ago I read an article, then a paper, then all sorts of things and had the same reaction-
when this hits the news it will obliterate that climate carbon nonsense.
But those facts, opinions, findings, do not get the light of day, the mass media is tightly held and obsessed with scares.
Scares which conveniently require more government taxes, regulations, and spending.
The fake scare is so outrageously gigantic that it even outclass the real scandals.

You see, I wrote a new article yesterday. I reprised Climategate 2.0, after discussing at length what the Paris Agreement was, distinguishing it from the Global Climate Fund, and pointing out that it amounts to economic sanctions against the United States and would do little or nothing to affect the climate, if the models were correct.

Those electricity price warnings- here in Australia it has already happened, and
no sign of the increases abating.
We sit on enormous reserves of coal, close to the surface, much of it top quality.
But we spend on wind and solar, big money big dreams, little actual power production.
(South Australia closed a coal station and hoped wind turbines would suffice,
a few months later they had a big power system collapse. )
We have large uranium reserves. The greens do not allow mining and sale.
There is a very big coal project- Adani-Carmichael. An Indian company wants to
start a coal mine, thousands of jobs, billions of taxes will be paid! The greens
are fighting tooth and nail with court action facetious and trivial backed by the usual so-called charity groups.
This is a major project, bigger than the Keystone and Dakota pipelines that Obama stopped.
The good news is that Trump has given go-ahead for Keystone. Adani-Carmichael
looks like a goer but still not definite.

Hail Temlakos, a prophet in the valley of the blind. Along came a one-eyed man in the valley of the blind, named Trump. Instead of becoming king, though, he was getting stoned (not from drugs). Luckily, since they were blind, they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Dr. Michael Mann seems to have become the high priest of climate change. I'm surprised that that this fringe group hasn't erected a temple to the false religion of climate change.
My mantra for these heretics is to "Plant a Tree"!
Hey, Jerry Brown "Plant a Tree"!
Hey, Leonard DiCaprio "Plant a Tree"!
Hey all you Climate Change idiots "Plant a Tree"
This might solve some CO2 issues but it will keep these people busy so they will have less time jabbering.

I want to know how they dare tell me to get out of my car when they won't get out of theirs. To say nothing of their private jets, mansions big enough to run a small business out of,...
