I've been a fairly regular visitor and a producer for quite a while (rode the team bus over from the Part I boards) and figure it's about time I formally introduced myself. Did I mention that I'm one of the world's greatest procrastinators? I was introduced to the works of Ayn Rand fairly late: I was pushing 50 when a Libertarian friend lent me a paperback copy of Atlas Shrugged. He wanted me to just read John Galt's speech. Instead, I read the book cover-to-cover I've since read all of her published fiction and most of her non-fiction. There have allways been things I thought wer right and good in this world, and things that I thought were wrong and evil. Her Philosophy of Objectivism gave me the "why" behind the "what."
