Starbucks CEO asks customers to keep their guns away

Now he states that he doesn't want to get in the middle of this debate, and yet he has just done so. What about concealed carry? He never mentions that.
This is just another reason why I don't go to Starbucks. I buy my coffee, when I don't brew it myself, from a local merchant.

I'm Galting Starbucks! Will you?

I believe that a boycott only works if you let the company know about it:

    Starbucks Corporation
    Attn: CEO Howard Schultz
    PO Box 3717
    Seattle, WA 98124-3717

    September 18, 2013

    Dear Mr. Schultz:

I have enjoyed drinking Starbucks coffee for many years. Therefore, it both saddens and angers me that you have decided to thrust yourself and your company into the American debate on defensive tools (guns) in a manner that I find cowardly.

As you have indicated that you do not want guns in your stores, I will respectfully comply. Since you own the stores, it is your right to make that request. However, since your request clashes with my Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, I must also remove myself and my money from your stores.

Your request shows an astonishing ignorance of the majority of American society (it exists in that vast stretch of land between the liberal coasts). It also displays a lack of respect for a large portion of the customer base that has so willingly contributed to your wealth.

I took the step of de-registering my Starbucks card a few minutes before writing this letter. The card is enclosed with this letter. However, I was unable to completely cancel my online account. Please remove my account and all of its information from your databases. I’ll be watching to see that you do.

I sincerely hope that you change your mind before this letter reaches you.

    Regretfully,

    Former Customer
    Enclosure: Starbucks Card

"The presence of a weapon in our stores is unsettling and upsetting for many of our customers." What about the presence of the anti-constitutional ideology of the Marxists? It is unsettling for me to be in the same locale with people whose only goal is to deny me my individual rights. Will Howard send out another letter requesting King Mikey and his anti-gun nut followers to stay away unless they check their socialist ideas at the door?
