A follow up for those interested.
Some of the folks down stream are not to happy.
I am sure this is just to keep us all safe from the immigrants he welcomes with safe cities and open wallets . Ssshhhss don't tell them that the dams are there and how the state fails to maintain them.

Brown is only practicing the progressive Obominable transparency taught to us so well for eight long years.
Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.
It's uppity to question your betters.
Let Big Brother be about his business.
And remember, always fit in with your approving California neighbors by voting like a good little Democrat

This is what happens when the government disregards its constituents and becomes an entity upon itself. They are not accountable and they can do whatever they want. The term "public servant" is quickly becoming obsolete. I'd give Moonbeam and his minions shovels and tell them to get to it!

If I was the President, I'd make a condition of infrastructure repair a termination of the high speed train project that Moonbeam so loves. Besides the money wasted, the train will never reach the downtown locations of Los Angeles and San Francisco as originally envisioned, and won't reach the speed needed to significantly cut travel time.

I'm sure that the Governor of California has nothing to hide. After all, he has a reputation to uphold -- uh, oh, er, wait a minute.....

Still can't believe Brown's back in, again. I actually left the state right after Ronnie turned it over to him the first time in 1976. Perhaps this time he'll have his illegal aliens rebuild his dam, since no one will be looking. I hope they are not using federal money and he takes full personal responsibility for any consequences.

Ca rep refuses to be complicit in the secrecy.
The state senator mentioned that U.S. Rep. Doug LaMalfa, R-Richvale, told the Sacramento Bee he had been asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before viewing documents related to the Oroville Dam spillway.

“That’s insulting,” Nielsen said. “We’re going to be complicit in hiding information? No way.”

Nielsen said he understands that concerns could be real, and security is “a lot different today than it used to be,” but said non-disclosure agreements for public representatives are unacceptable.

“We expect what we will be shown will not be the whole story,” Nielsen said. “If we are not allowed to comment on it we will be absolutely derelict to the citizens we represent.”
