Grand Haven? Chris was teasing Dave about going to a place called Snug Harbor with a bunch of men. Dave's been going for the past few years. He knew the right guy and they place their reservations a year in advance for salmon fishing.

Did you by chance have an opinion on Mike and how he contributed to the show?

I'm going to admit I need to watch it again...I had it playing and I was listening (or trying to listen over the noise I was making while working)...I seemed to pick up that you didn't love the movie... I will rewatch it and critique Mike into tomorrow. LOL You guys are a blast.

Okay... Mike had me at "Prequel prequel prequel" and "....don't drink the water!". Is this going to become 4 men and a Movie now? If so, in order for the 4 of you to fit in your current seating area, you will have to acquire a church pew to sit on. That would be fun to see (ha..speaking of Snug Harbor). :0)
Hope Dave is catching a boat load!

We were going to have special guests and then Dave said "Hey, I won't be here for the next two weeks." Since I already had Mike lined up and ready as a guest he just stepped in. When I asked him to do it on a weekly basis, he declined. I really can't push the offer since he already is acting in my film with the 3rd biggest role which we are currently filming. So I know he is busy and serious about his role in my film which of course means more to me than anything. So I was happy he was willing to help us out while Dave's gone. Well, glad you enjoy it.

My first attempt at filming a feature length film. I wrote the first draft of the screenplay in June 2012 and finished the final draft March 4, 2013.

Very exciting! Sounds a bit secretive, but when/if you want to share it with the world....let us know. :) (Sheesh...throw us a bone...a tid bit...SOME thing!)

It's a zombie film written the way I wanted to write a zombie film. I was working on a story set in the old west and had roughly 30 pages written. I couldn't film what I was writing, so I started a new story set in modern times that I could film. So the plan would be to try and do the sequel which would really be a prequel after the first film.

I named it Zurviving the DEAD! It's a trilogy so far. Only the 3rd hasn't been written and is only a basic outline with some scenes as of now. I am working on doing a small comic book tie-in for the current film which would show parts of the story missing from the film script. Honestly just scenes I couldn't and didn't want to film but story I wanted to be told, though not necessary to the film. It's perhaps my William Castle approach.

Currently I have 8 scenes out of 49 filmed. I keep getting better but it never seems to get easier. I could be wrong but I believe the pay-off of completing my own film might be the most satisfying thought ever. My hero said it best.

"...yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value." - Thomas Paine

Wow... you are sounding very Atlas Shrugged in your approach. :) (Written the way you wanted it written.) Personally, I'm a big fan of Zombies. Sounds like you've been hard at work and I'll give you a point for Thomas Paine!
I wish you much success and triumph in your endeavor. Please keep us posted. :)
