Looks like an organized invasion to me. If we can spend blood and treasure protecting borders and security in foreign engagements why can't we do it for ourselves? We can keep Americans out of area 51, but we can't keep immigrants from coming across places other than the legitimate checkpoints... The Mexicans have no problem arresting and incarcerating Americans that accidentally cross into their land, yet they aid and abet those that cross their nation to infiltrate ours.
The answer is: not as long as Oblama is prez and the dims control the senate. Removing the dims from the senate is the first step to recovery of our nation from the progs. This whole thing is part of the plan to diminish this country and its legal citizens into a third world nation. Look for martial law to be implemented in the near future. To control the legal citizens, not the illegals.
Why hello Washington? Am I the only person left who remembers that the Guard belongs to the GOVERNOR?
Why hasn't Perry already sent his guard down to the border? He sure as hell has had no trouble sending them around the world on "training exercising" (including central America, iirc... hmm)
I'm reminded of a scene from the movie "Taps", where Ronnie Cox plays a National Guard colonel. He tells Tim Hutton that he's the governor's muscle; that the governor sends him when the governor gets nervous...
So I have to ask...
When the hell is governor Perry going to get nervous?
What were Nobamas words before his 2nd term "I can be more flexible when I win" not flexible his words were when I win and I will then all my loyal subjects will join me here at my throne.
When the Internal Security Service was known as the Police, Not the Federal Government at the behest of the current Dearest Leader, who is our current Obama-in-chief, and were empowered by local governments, to protect and uphold the laws of the land, and the Constitution...
Of that funny and queer paper document called the Constitution, and it's troublesome and too-restrictive bill of rights, and how people once swore oaths to protect and defend it, not to rewrite it as our glorious leader has done for us, to give us a nation where all are welcome, all are taken care of, and all work to their ability...
Of a day when people could travel, freely, and at will, without having to get the proper and appropriate permits that allowed us, and our implanted tracking devices, to go not where the state deemed us most critical, but wherever people wanted to go, willy-nilly, and without permission...
Of this thing called self defense, and of firearms, and all the other evil tools used to assault the poor deprived criminal heroes from taking what they truly need, from those who have way too much anyway...
And of children being taught, not what they needed to know to become productive workers, but to dare to affront the planning bureaus by learning more than they needed, as if they could think they dared to improve their lives, govern in place of those duly appointed over them, and perhaps change their assigned work, throwing decades of planning committee's work out the window...
Aren't we glad our foremothers and forefathers came across the arid expanse of central America, into the welcome arms of our first Dearest Leader, The Great Imam, and all his appointed ones, that we could change this horrible concept called Freedom and Liberty (oh, how my tongue burns at the mention of such profanity) to the perfect and progressive revolutionary society we are all told to enjoy!
I'm so glad we never need to think of such an evil past, and instead only need to remember the glorious people's democratic socialist revolution and the glorious people's worker's state we have made this nation.
We don’t need to harm people who are just trying to fight for a better life. It wouldn’t hurt if many here would let it sink in that people are willing to risk death to get here just for a chance to have what those already here p** away. It’s our government’s job to send the message that “You can try to come here but the only door open is the legal way.” otherwise, we teach people that to get what they yearn for most they have to lie and cheat.
What sends the message that the illegal way is the way to go is not enforcing immigration laws to begin with. This is axiomatic. The criminal's desire to do something illegal is not justified because they desire it, regardless of the reason; the implied justification is because the law is defunct. Either way, the law should be obeyed.
Making excuses for illegal activity is the same liberal, collectivist mentality that many government sponsored genocides were initiated from.
You do know that crossing the border illegally is not a criminal offense? It is a civil offense. We can’t stop the migration of human beings and seriously, why would you want to? It’s something men have been doing since the beginning of time. We can however spotlight a lawful way of entry and come down hard on those who fail to seek it out. I would come down hard on groups like La Raza. They make the situation more complicated and political than it needs to be. They don’t support our laws.
I am in favor of enforcing the laws on the books. Period. If they will not be enforced, then we are required to enforce locally to protect private property. Rather simple.
As far as the 2nd Amendment's concerned, it's a capital offense. Fighting off foreign invasion is the other purpose of the militia..
Okay, I'll agree to try your way... "teach them that they can only get in the lawful way"... on condition that you ensure that there is no lawful way to enter the country...
"We can’t stop the migration of human beings and seriously, why would you want to? "
Because these are not the human beings I want migrating into my country.
When you have people in charge that get what they want by bending and breaking rules and ignoring our own laws, it sends the clear message that this is how we (and expect others to) do business. Is it any wonder they're staging a full scale invasion of these people?
The countries of the illegals have been corrupt for a long time, the present invasion has been choreographed by our current crop of politicians to create a crisis which they will not waste by implementing martial law for complete control of us all. Now, it is up to us to find a way around the problem. Otherwise, we're done.
What? I don’t think you understand me. I’m trying to say that if lawmakers send a clear message that the ONLY way you are getting into this country is by LAWFUL ways then people wanting to come here will seek out lawful means.
They won't get hurt if they stay on the far side of the border.
A burglar may be trying for a better life when he invades my home.
No, we aren't teaching people anything. They're liars and cheats when they come. Or do you think countries go into the toilet by the machinations of space aliens, while the good, honest, hardworking citizenry sits around helplessly watching space aliens bribe and steal and kill and corrupt?
Of course... we can't spend that ammo bought with taxpayer dollars on foreign nationals intent on invading our borders... unless, of course, it keeps our military on the ground elsewhere, sticking their nose into other nation's issues and getting them "battle hardened" for potential action on domestic soil...
re-election.

Its an invasion, treat it as such
We have an immigration process they can follow. If they choose not to, get them out and use whatever level of force required.
We either protect our sovereignty, or we will no longer have a country.
Frankly, I don't think many understand the word.
Making excuses for illegal activity is the same liberal, collectivist mentality that many government sponsored genocides were initiated from.
