People have been taking their money out and shutting down their businesses because of intransigent unions for decades. I remember a sawmill owner in Oregon that shut down his entire company town after his mill unionized. Liberals were livid...
I like that they said service to the public wouldn't be different. I am sure they would have liked to have kept those bakeries open, but they recognized they could remain equally profitable by dumping the money on truck drivers versus the unionized bakers.
I can just see him interviewing those former employees while holding a twinkie in one hand and some other confection in the other -- as depicted in his performance in Team America.
