I detest this crap that a woman in my husband's family plasters all over FB. He can't stand it! It makes me gag.

I agree with him about reducing the prison population. He shouldn't be calling for new reasons to jail people, i.e. new guns laws. It says the incarceration rate is one of his biggest issues. If I were talking to them, I'd reach out to them on that issue. I'd ask questions about how to objectively measure which approaches work best on issues he mentions such as healthcare.
