All,

I was wondering how voter turnout was in your area?

I just voted at about 10 AM my time. It was a quick walk down the street. The only people there were me and a guy claiming his vote wasn't counted so he should get to vote again. Factor in the time of day though.

Hopefully its just the time of day.

My wife called a couple minutes ago and is inline now (11:30 here) and says there is still about an hour long line from what people are stating on the way out. Maybe just our area, do not know yet but I hope its wider than a small group or area of the country. People need to vote and start to care or we wont be able to change much.

I am in Utah's 4th district. I have lived in the same house a little over 10 years, voted every time we had something to vote on at about 7:15 AM on every election. Always in and out in less than 15 minutes with around 15-20 people there at that time.

Today there was a good 100 people there in front of me, I waited 2 hours to vote and when I left the line was longer than when I entered.

Voter Turnout here is very high compared to anything in the last decade.

Voted at 7am, AZ, there was a line of about 40 in front of us and it was only getting longer as we left. Took about 25 mins from arrival to departure.

I voted last Thursday in North Texas at around 4 in the afternoon and the line was about a 10 minute wait. I'd say there were around 50 coming and going during my visit.

Pretty light turnout this morning at 8 am or so in central Indiana.

Disappointing, With the large turnout here I thought that maybe people were starting to get the idea that if they don't vote nothing will change. It appears more likely I was overly optimistic.

Not sure how much can be assumed from my experience. This is a small town and my polling place is a bit rural on top of that.

I agree with jmlesniewski below. I went just after the morning hit of people on their way to work and before the lunch time rush.

I voted early and there were only a few people in front of me. I would call it light. The other interesting thing was that there were no people outside handing out literature.
