"97% Of Climate Scientists Agree" Is 100% Wrong
A recent post by Zenphamy referenced the allegation that 97% of climate scientists agree that global warming exists and is man-made. This article completely refutes the 97% finding. In other words, it's hogwash.
Anyway, it gives me an opportunity to yak some more, so. ..
Supposing you see a statement by one hundred scientists from the State Science Institute,
it makes a claim, what weight do you give it?
Certainly not 100.
Perhaps a weight of one since the chief decides and the others go along if they want to keep their jobs.
On reflection, I think the correct weighting is zero since the chief takes his orders from the politician who gave him the job.
